Management of over 80 artists and multiple collaborators on a 3 floor exhibition in Timisoara for the European Capital of Culture 2023.

The Project
At the occasion of the European capital of culture 2023, Cazarma U, a centuries old military barrack located in the center of the city and closed down for more that 4 decades reopens its doors to host a sculptural exhibition.

The Triade Foundation works to promote artists on a national and international level as well as promoting the mediation of art, fine art education, and art in a social climate.

The Work
During this opportunity I was able to assist with the organisation and set up of all 4 permanent exhibitions, the temporary exhibitions, an artist residency program for Ukrainian artists, performance pieces, and live events.
Beyond on-site organisation, I participated in admin tasks such as drafting insurance contracts and reviewing the budget of the event which ensured proper use of available funds Due to the large scale of the event, I had to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders that included the architect for spacial and lighting design, the communications team for marketing and PR, artists, for tools to bring their vision to life, live events company to animte the building’s courtyard, and sponsors.
The opening brought together around 5,000 people including the mayor the city.
